Resident Engineer – Construction Supervision (High-Rise Projects)

Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Resident Engineer will act as the on-site representative of the consultant, responsible for supervising all construction activities and ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor daily site operations and proactively resolve issues related to design, materials, or execution.
• Oversee and guide contractors, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure efficient and high-quality work delivery.
• Inspect materials and construction methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, site records, and technical evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage maintenance activities for systems, turbines, generators, and associated equipment.
• Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements in construction processes, resource utilization, and execution strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth coordination of schedules and project requirements.
• Provide timely technical support and respond to client queries throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at the site.
• Participate in performance evaluation and assessment of engineering and site personnel.
• Handle high-rise project complexities, ensuring safe and compliant vertical construction practices.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision, including at least 5 years on high-rise building projects.
• Proven experience in managing site activities, contractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Work Schedule:

• Alternate Saturdays Off
• Sundays Fixed Off
