Job Description:
- Strong knowledge of the National Building Code of India 2016, especially Part 4 – Fire & Life Safety for design and estimation during the bidding stage.
- Good understanding of the National Electrical Code SP 30:2011 for electrical systems and standards.
- Hands-on knowledge of the ISHRAE HVAC Data Book 2017 for mechanical/HVAC systems.
- Expertise in MEP system design coordination based on project requirements and building layout.
- Experience in load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection of HVAC, pumps, DGs, electrical panels, and lighting systems.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
- Coordination with architects, structural consultants, and stakeholders for seamless MEP integration.
- Preparation of cost estimation, BOQ, and budgeting support for MEP works.
- Supervision and monitoring of MEP installation activities during the construction stage.
- Focus on energy-efficient and sustainable MEP solutions to optimise operational performance.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and resolving MEP system issues.
- Maintaining and updating MEP changes, logs, and as-built drawings.
- Assisting in scope review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work orders.
- Monitoring and controlling MEP subcontractor activities and execution quality.
- Coordination and administration of MEP materials, systems, and shop drawings.
- Liaising with consultants, MEP engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensuring quality documentation, records, and compliance with project safety standards.
- Supporting testing and commissioning activities for all MEP equipment and systems.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a reputed Indian institution.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial projects
Key Skill: - Strong knowledge of relevant MEP codes, standards, and specifications.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, on the Windows platform.
Age criteria:
35 to 45 years.
