Business Analyst

Job Description:

• Business Analyst supporting the Mobile Checklist (MCL) system which provides electronic check sheets for use by field technicians globally as they perform medical device service. 

The system is integrated with Salesforce.

• Collaborates with Service Engineering and Quality to elicit requirements and understand the device service procedures used by technicians.

• Documents MCL form requirements in a Validation Rule spreadsheet and MCL system requirements in a Functional Requirements Specification.

• Writes or reviews user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira to document Salesforce integration requirements.

• Utilizes the ProntoForms form building tool to build and maintain the electronic checklists.

• Following an agile methodology, demonstrates ProntoForms checklist mock-ups to user Subject Matter Experts (SME) to gain approval.

• Reviews test strategy and validation test scripts generated by others.

• Performs system testing (Salesforce and Mobile Checklist integration)

• Corrects form defects and writes up defect investigation in HP ALM.

• Plans and coordinates the completion of any necessary form translations, user acceptance testing and training with assistance from user Subject Matter Experts (SME).

• Provides 2nd level end user MCL support

• Provides written communications to technicians regarding system issues or workarounds   

Key Skills/Experiences

• Developed oral and written communication skills to present business requirements, process flows and system demonstrations to others with clarity and precision

• Project experience to take an MCL release from start to finish following the SDLC process

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented

• System validation experience

• HP ALM experience

• Understanding of conditional logic via such experiences as light programming, web page generation or Excel macro configuration

• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

• Salesforce experience helpful

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience in systems or business

• 1+ years of ProntoForms or similar tool experience • 2+ years of BA experience
