Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Revenue Management Specialist with working knowledge of FOSSE and Opera property management systems to join our team and optimize revenue performance.

 

Rate Management:

  • Daily Monitor competitor rates and market demand to adjust room rates dynamically.
  • Implement pricing strategies such as dynamic pricing, yield management, and segmentation to maximize revenue potential.

Revenue Analysis:

  • Begin the day by reviewing the previous day's revenue performance for rooms, food and beverage, and other income.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), and total revenue to assess the hotel's financial performance.

Group Revenue Management:

  • Manage group pricing and inventory to maximize revenue while ensuring optimal utilization of hotel facilities.
  • Provide group rate proposal, negotiate group contracts and pricing terms.

Revenue Meetings:

  • Attend daily or weekly revenue management meetings to discuss performance, strategy adjustments, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address revenue-related challenges and opportunities.

Distribution Channel Management:

  • Monitor and manage distribution channels such as online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), direct bookings, and corporate contracts.
  • Optimize the channel mix to minimize distribution costs and maximize revenue contribution.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze revenue data from various sources, including property management systems (PMS), sales reports, and market reports.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports for senior management and other stakeholders.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of 2 years plus in hotel revenue management, with working knowledge of FOSSE and Opera property management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial and performance data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on achieving revenue targets and optimizing profitability.
