Job Description:

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the growth of Industrial & Architectural Screens (IAS) business in the Western region

  • Develop and implement Sales Action Plans to achieve Order Input, Volume, and Margin forecasts for the region

  • Conduct regular visits to OEMs and industries including Starch, Sugar, Paper, Mining, Edible Oil, Chemical, Food & Beverage, ETP/Water Contractors, etc.

  • Study applications, perform product selection and sizing, negotiate, and close orders

  • Obtain approval of company brands with consultants and specifications of products/technology in Industrial & Water tenders

  • Drive sales of new products and technologies

  • Ensure timely submission of sales reports and sales forecasts

  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships

  • Ensure effective and smooth working relationships across IAS and other teams within the company

Key Functions & Accountabilities

Technical Responsibilities

  • Selection and sizing of core products including screen baskets, flat panels, nozzles, laterals, resin traps, trommels, DSM screens, etc.

  • Analyze and recommend improvements in screening processes for customers and OEMs

  • Support internal sales teams in offer submissions and technical specifications

  • Product portfolio includes solid/liquid separation, screening, and filtering processes for Starch, Sugar, Paper, Mining, Edible Oil, Chemical, Food & Beverage, ETP/Water Contractors, Architecture, etc.

Sales Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual objectives and sales targets as agreed at the beginning of each calendar year

  • Conduct regular sales calls and customer meetings for inquiry generation, technical presentations, negotiations, and order closures

  • Develop and modify cost estimation programs and product presentations

  • Participate in contract review of major projects

  • Conduct market research related to pricing, applications, competition, and new product development

  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

General Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on all current and major projects to adapt technical solutions, delivery schedules, and product offerings according to changing customer requirements

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork approach

Customer Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer needs and identify challenges and business opportunities

  • Work closely with internal sales teams to prioritize customer requirements

  • Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and responsiveness

Financial Responsibilities

  • Advise management on strategies for maximizing growth, sustainability, and cost optimization

Additional Requirements

  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory is required

  • Flexible to support after-hours meetings, functions, and business requirements

  • Willingness to support colleagues and teams across locations and regions when required

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred:

  • 2–3 years of sales experience in industrial products/equipment across industries such as Chemical, Starch, Sugar, Food Processing, Paper, Mining, Power Plants, Water Treatment, ETPs, OEMs, etc.
