State Head - Channel Sales (TMT Product)
Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with 8–10 years of experience in the Steel, TMT, Paint, or Cement sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in driving revenue, leading high-performing teams, managing key accounts, and executing strategic sales plans. Strong leadership, customer focus, and execution excellence are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Planning & Funnel Management:
- Drive monthly sales targets, volume, and revenue for the assigned geography.
- Strategically manage the sales funnel to maximize conversions.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, groom, and enable the team to achieve targets consistently.
- Provide hands-on guidance, training, and performance reviews.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Customize offerings and negotiate effectively to meet client needs.
- Key Account Management:
- Drive repeat business through strategic account handling and cross-selling.
- Maximize wallet share from critical and high-potential accounts.
- Process & Performance Optimization:
- Analyze customer funnels to reduce acquisition cost and improve retention.
- Champion customer centricity and embed it within the sales culture.
- Collaborate with Regional and Central teams to ensure seamless fulfillment.
Candidate Requirements:
- 8–10 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the Steel/TMT/Paint/Cement sector.
- Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong ethical foundation and high perseverance.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong bias for action, self-motivation, and ownership.
