Job Description:

Service Description

  • Participate in developing plans to upgrade operating systems and associated office automation software.
  • Contribute to desktop support end-user hardware acquisition plans.
  • Coordinate with work associates, network/system support engineers, and application senior analysts to identify system/operations issues.
  • Identify and agree on scheduling priorities for resolving system problems, minimizing business impact.
  • Ensure deployment of PCs, laptops, network and standalone printers, and other IT client hardware.
  • Ensure timely upgrades of client operating systems and desktop applications.
  • Carry out troubleshooting tasks to resolve IT client-related problems on hardware, operating systems, and desktop applications.
  • Analyze and resolve service/change requests and user-reported problems escalated by the IT helpdesk.
  • Ensure proper security setup of end-user desktops and enforce company/client policies.
  • Manage and maintain email and Active Directory support functions.
  • Assess vendors against requirements, geographic fit, vendor viability, and technology risks.
  • Develop on-the-job training programs for UAE nationals using the Competency Management System (CAMS).
