Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate manual entries in Galileo (cryptic and generic formats) for booking, pricing, and ticketing activities.
- Manage the complete ticketing lifecycle, including flight bookings, fare validation, PNR generation, and ticket issuance.
- Process refunds in accordance with airline, IATA, and UK-BSP standards.
- Handle CAT 35 ITX fares with high competency, ensuring adherence to tour operator and airline ticketing protocols.
- Support international clients with itinerary queries, booking amendments, and escalations while maintaining service quality benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with UK-BSP (Billing & Settlement Plan) ticketing rules, documentation guidelines, and reconciliation processes.
- Maintain high data accuracy, conduct operational checks, and drive initiatives to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance workflows, standardise processes, and strengthen overall operational governance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in ticketing, preferably within a tour operator or airline ticketing environment.
- Strong expertise in Galileo GDS with proficiency in manual, cryptic, and generic entries.
- High competency in CAT 35 ITX fares.
- Solid understanding of IATA and UK-BSP ticketing rules and settlement procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information with clarity.
- High attention to detail, structured work approach, and commitment to error-free execution.
- Motivated, process-driven mindset focused on operational accuracy and continuous improvement.
Preferred Attributes:
- IATA certification or equivalent professional training.
- Experience in refund audits, fare filings, or revenue assurance.
