Job Description:

 

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead specializing in both automation and manual testing, with strong exposure to both mobile app and web automation. You will own and elevate the QA function, build and mentor a high-performing QA team, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital financial platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the QA process for mobile (Android/iOS) and web-based FinTech applications
  • Create, manage, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
  • Lead a small team of QA engineers, offering strategic and tactical guidance on quality best practices
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using SeleniumAppium, or equivalent tools
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams throughout the SDLC to ensure optimal product quality
  • Streamline bug tracking and reporting processes using JIRA or similar tools
  • Ensure timely and high-quality releases by active participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Document testing processes, results, and facilitate improvements for future projects
  • Drive the adoption of new QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and product quality

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5–6 years in application QA for both manual and automation
  • Proven hands-on experience with testing mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications
  • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and best practices
  • Expertise in test automation tools: Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.
  • Experience leading QA teams and managing end-to-end test strategies
  • Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience in FinTech or BFSI domains is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and practices

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of security and compliance requirements relevant to FinTech industry
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern version control systems (Git, Jenkins)
