Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations within the Municipal Corporation. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Taxation, Project Financing, and financial compliance. This role requires strategic financial planning, effective stakeholder coordination, and ensuring transparency in municipal projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR processes, ensuring timely vendor payments, invoicing, and collections.

• Ensure compliance with taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and support audits.

• Oversee project financing, budgeting, and cash flow management for municipal projects.

• Handle Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and other financial instruments.

• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and reconciliation of accounts.

• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government bodies to ensure statutory compliance.

• Provide financial inputs for procurement, contracts, and public infrastructure projects.

• Implement financial controls to maintain accountability and efficiency.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• MBA in Finance with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Minimum 3 yrs in Finance Related Projects 

• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, taxation, project financing, LC/BG documentation.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, and MS Excel.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.

• Experience in public sector finance or infrastructure projects preferred.
