Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled GIS Expert with 5+ years of experience to manage and optimize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) . The role involves developing spatial data solutions, supporting urban planning, infrastructure management, and ensuring accurate mapping for public services.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases, maps, and spatial data for municipal projects.

Support urban planning, utilities, and infrastructure management through GIS analysis.

Collaborate with departments (engineering, planning, public works) to integrate GIS solutions.

Conduct spatial analysis, prepare thematic maps, and generate reports for decision-making.

Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integration with ERP and municipal systems.

Train staff on GIS tools and provide technical support.

Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for GIS upgrades and solutions.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of professional experience in GIS implementation and management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in GIS Projects Implementation Work .

Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map, etc.).

Strong knowledge of spatial data management, urban planning, and municipal applications.

Skilled in database management (SQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and GIS integration.

Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Experience in public sector or municipal projects preferred.
