Transportation Expert (Government Urban Local Body)
Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a Transportation Expert with 5+ years of experience to oversee and optimize transportation systems. The role involves planning, managing, and improving public transport infrastructure, traffic flow, and mobility solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable urban transportation.
Key Responsibilities

Provide support in improving transportation facilities of the city.

Assist in project implementation under Urban Development Year 2025 initiatives.

Develop and monitor city mobility plans, public transport initiatives, and parking strategies.

Deliver end-to-end support for PM e-Bus scheme, charging stations, electrification of heritage city, and urban mobility plans.

Review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for footpaths, cycle tracks, smart signals, signage, and junction improvements.

Plan and oversee smart parking systems and real-time traffic information systems.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in transportation planning and management.
- Minimum 3 years of Experience in Transportation Project.

Strong knowledge of traffic engineering, urban mobility, and public transport systems.

Proficiency in transport modeling tools, GIS, and project management software.

Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Experience in public sector or municipal projects preferred.
