Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the company. The role involves managing accounting, taxation, banking, audits, compliance, and cross-departmental financial coordination to ensure smooth business operations and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting and finance operations.

Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and fund utilization.

Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation laws.

Monitor export benefits: application, tracking, and utilization.

Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, and DGFT regulations.

Coordinate with cross-functional departments for seamless operations.

Close books on a monthly basis within strict timelines.

Handle various audits including statutory, internal, IFRS, transfer pricing, and tax audits.

Liaise with government authorities and file necessary MCA forms and annual returns.

Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance and accounting.

Oversee CSR fund utilization as per company policy.

Train and update the finance team on changes in taxation and finance regulations.

Maintain accounting as per cost centers defined in the company.

Accountabilities

Accurate and timely direct and indirect tax management.

Monthly closure of accounts within defined timelines.

Smooth banking operations to facilitate uninterrupted business functions.

Timely year-end account finalization.

Compliance with audits and return filing deadlines.

Effective fund management and utilization.

Technical Skills:

Strong SAP knowledge (Finance and Material modules).

Expertise in direct and indirect taxation.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

Education & Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation and banking.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years of experience in taxation and banking.

Experience in the manufacturing industry.
