Job Description:

The HR Head will be responsible for leading and managing the overall Human Resources function, ensuring effective implementation of HR strategies, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development aligned with the company’s business goals.


Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive people strategy aligned with business goals

  • Design and implement HR frameworks to support scale, transformation, and high performance

  • Act as a change agent during phases of growth, restructuring, or expansion


Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for corporate, technology, and field roles

  • Develop workforce planning and succession strategies for critical roles

  • Strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines, especially in niche agritech roles


Performance Management & Rewards

  • Drive a robust performance management system aligned with business outcomes

  • Design competitive compensation, incentives, and benefits structures within budget

  • Oversee annual appraisal, promotion, and rewards cycles


Learning, Leadership & Culture

  • Build leadership development and capability-building programs

  • Foster a strong organizational culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and innovation

  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and experience initiatives


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee HR operations, policies, payroll, and employee lifecycle management

  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws across multiple states

  • Manage industrial relations (if applicable) and employee grievance redressal


HR Systems & Analytics

  • Drive digitization of HR processes using HRMS and people analytics

  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and workforce effectiveness

  • CEO & Executive Leadership Team

  • Business Heads & Functional Leaders

  • External Consultants, Recruitment Partners, and Statutory Authorities


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

  • 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role
