Job Description:

The client is looking for a highly driven Business Development Specialist with a technical background in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture to expand their  footprint in the USA AEC BIM services market.

This role combines technical solution selling + international business development, ideal for professionals who understand BIM workflows and client engagement in the AEC ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in the USA AEC BIM services market

🔹 Drive the end-to-end sales lifecycle

  • Lead generation
  • Client meetings & presentations
  • Proposal development
  • Negotiation
  • Closure

🔹 Communicate technical BIM capabilities clearly to stakeholders including:

  • Architects
  • Consultants
  • Contractors
  • Engineering firms

🔹 Build long-term strategic relationships with decision-makers

🔹 Maintain opportunity pipelines using CRM platforms such as:

  • Salesforce
  • HubSpot

🔹 Conduct market research on:

  • Competitors
  • Industry trends
  • Target geographies
  • Service positioning

🔹 Collaborate internally with:

  • BIM technical teams
  • Marketing
  • Project delivery teams

🔹 Present customized BIM outsourcing solutions aligned with client requirements

🔹 Support account growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities

🔹 Represent the company  at international events, webinars, and networking platforms


Required Skills & Experience

✔ 3+ years experience in Business Development / Sales (AEC or BIM preferred)

✔ Strong understanding of:

  • BIM workflows
  • Engineering services outsourcing
  • Architecture support services

✔ Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture

✔ Experience selling into USA market clients (strong advantage)

✔ Exposure to CRM platforms (Salesforce / HubSpot preferred)

✔ Strong presentation & consultative selling skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously

✔ Strong negotiation and contract closure capability
