About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Panel Costing Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and techno-commercial quotations for LT & HT electrical panels (IEC 61439 / 60439). The role involves analyzing client specifications, optimizing designs from a cost perspective, and ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
You will closely coordinate with design, procurement, and client teams to ensure precise costing and competitive proposals while supporting project profitability and execution efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for LT & HT electrical panels
- Analyze client technical specifications and BOQs
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams for accurate costing inputs
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (IEC 61439 / 60439)
- Optimize designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality
- Track material pricing trends and vendor inputs
- Support techno-commercial discussions with internal teams and clients
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical design fundamentals and power distribution systems
- Experience in electrical panel costing/design preferred
- Knowledge of industry standards (IEC 61439 / 60439)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in costing tools / Excel and engineering software
- Good communication and teamwork skills
