Electrical Panel Design Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Panel Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical control panels in line with industry standards and client specifications. The role involves preparing and reviewing design layouts, selecting appropriate components, and ensuring technical feasibility for power distribution and control systems.
The engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, support troubleshooting activities, and prepare detailed engineering documentation to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control and power distribution panels
- Prepare and review schematics, GA drawings, and panel layouts
- Select suitable components based on project specifications
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety requirements
- Support design optimization for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot technical design challenges when required
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production and procurement
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in electrical panel design and schematic interpretation
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / EPLAN
- Good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and power distribution systems
- Experience in automation panels or control panel design preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail with a structured engineering approach
