Junior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will assist in the analysis, design, planning, and execution of structural engineering works for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong technical understanding, coordination abilities, and a proactive approach to project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures.
Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
Review architectural and structural drawings for project execution.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, and site teams.
Support in preparation of BOQs, project estimates, and material specifications.
Conduct site visits and monitor structural work execution as per approved drawings and standards.
Ensure compliance with IS Codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Assist in resolving technical and site-related structural issues.
Participate in project planning, progress tracking, and reporting activities.
Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and project records.

Required Skills
Basic understanding of structural design principles and construction methodologies.
Knowledge of RCC and steel structural systems.
Familiarity with IS Codes and engineering standards.
Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar tools.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Civil) with specialisation/interest in Structural Engineering.
