Specialist - General Surgery

Job Description:

Key Skills
• Strong experience in elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Expertise in laparoscopic and open surgeries.
• Experience in managing trauma and emergency surgical cases.
• Excellent pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Ability to independently manage surgical OPD, ward patients and emergency cases.

Responsibilities
• Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Evaluate patients and formulate surgical treatment plans.
• Provide comprehensive peri-operative care.
• Maintain complete medical records and operative documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.

Key Requirements:

• Male General Surgeon
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialisation experience
• Preferred experience: 4–6 years
• Age up to 48 years
• Oman DataFlow completed, Prometric cleared, or MOH Viva cleared preferred

Qualification:

• MS / DNB / FRCS / FCPS / Arab Board

Health Insurance: Coverage is provided for the employee. Eligible family members may be added by paying OMR 120 per person per year
