Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 2+ years of experience in Indian accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting and books of accounts.
• Record purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare BRS and customer/vendor ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST accounting, reconciliation, and GSTR-1/GSTR-3B compliance.
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and returns.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable and monitor outstanding balances.
• Assist with financial statements, year-end closing, and account finalization.
• Support GST, TDS, income-tax, and statutory audits.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and other professionals.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Required Qualifications & Skills
• B.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of Indian Accounting, GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
