Statutory Audit – Manager(CA)

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years of relevant experience in statutory audit. The candidate will be responsible for handling audit assignments, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting the preparation and finalization of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute statutory audit assignments independently or as part of an audit team.
• Review financial statements, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Perform audit procedures and identify financial and compliance risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act, Accounting Standards/Ind AS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and documentation.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and communicate audit observations.
• Assist in preparation and finalization of financial statements and audit reports.
• Coordinate with clients/internal teams for audit-related requirements and clarifications.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments as per agreed timelines.
• Support seniors/managers in handling complex audit matters.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of statutory audit and financial accounting.
• Good understanding of Companies Act and Ind AS/Accounting Standards.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in Statutory Audit, preferably from a CA firm or audit environment.
• Experience in handling audits of companies across different sectors will be an added advantage.
