Manager| Chartered Accountant | Group Consolidation
Job Description:
Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong Big 4 audit exposure and hands-on experience in group financial consolidation to join our Finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities and geographies, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, and driving process improvements across group reporting and consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation for multiple subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures.
Review and finalise consolidation adjustments, including intercompany eliminations, non-controlling interest, goodwill, and equity accounting.
Ensure compliance with Ind AS / IFRS requirements relating to consolidation, business combinations, and group accounting.
Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams for timely and accurate submission of financial reporting packs.
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, notes to accounts, and related disclosures.
Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for group audit requirements and timely closure of audit queries.
Perform technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex consolidation matters.
Prepare accounting policy positions and technical accounting memos on new or amended accounting standards.
Drive automation, standardisation, and process improvements in group consolidation and reporting.
Support statutory, board, and management reporting involving consolidated financial information.
Ensure robust internal controls over the consolidation and group reporting process.
Manage Related Party Transactions (RPTs), including tracking, omnibus approvals, arm’s-length assessments, reporting, and disclosures.
Support IPO readiness, M&A, restructuring, and other strategic finance initiatives, where applicable.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience
7–10 years of post-qualification experience.
Prior experience with a Big 4 audit firm is mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience in financial consolidation and group reporting.
Experience working with multiple entities, currencies, and geographies is preferred.
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS.
Strong understanding of consolidation, business combinations, group accounting, and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of Ind AS 103, 110, 111, 112 and corresponding IFRS standards.
