HR & Admin Officer - (FMCG)
Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on HR professional who can independently manage HR operations at the factory/plant level, lead the HR team on the ground, and help build strong, structured HR systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage day-to-day HR operations at the factory/plant level.
-
Handle employee relations, workforce engagement, and grievance resolution.
-
Manage attendance, leave, employee records, and HR documentation.
-
Prepare and coordinate payroll inputs, HR MIS, and employee-related reports.
-
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR regulations.
-
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and manpower agencies, including onboarding and documentation.
-
Lead and coordinate the on-ground HR team and ensure smooth execution of HR activities.
-
Develop and implement SOPs, HR policies, systems, and processes.
-
Work closely with factory management and employees to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
-
Maintain a strong HR presence on the factory floor and ensure effective communication with the workforce.
Core Experience Required
-
Hands-on experience in factory/plant HR operations.
-
Strong experience in employee relations and grievance handling.
-
Knowledge of attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, and HR MIS.
-
Understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
-
Experience in vendor/contractor coordination and onboarding.
-
Ability to manage and coordinate an HR team.
-
Experience in developing and implementing SOPs, policies, and HR processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working directly with the factory workforce. This role requires someone who is willing to be physically present on the factory floor, understand ground-level challenges, take ownership, and solve problems practically—not someone focused only on plant HR administration.
Experience & Industry Preference
-
5–7 years of overall HR experience.
-
Candidates with strong hands-on plant/factory HR experience will be preferred.
