Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Finance & Accounts function and partner closely with the leadership team on strategic financial planning, business growth, governance, and financial performance. The role will oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, compliance, controls, and business finance while driving finance transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
1. CFO Office & Strategic Finance
Act as a key strategic partner to the CFO/leadership team in driving finance initiatives and business growth plans.
Prepare and present financial insights, MIS reports, management reviews, and board presentations.
Support business strategy through financial analysis, scenario planning, and profitability assessment.
Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-range business plans.
Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
2. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and ensure timely closure of books.
Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and financial due diligence activities.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial information.
3. Treasury & Working Capital Management
Manage cash-flow forecasting and working-capital optimization.
Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund management.
Monitor liquidity requirements and implement effective treasury strategies.
Support fundraising, debt management, and investor-related requirements.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
Drive tax-planning initiatives and manage tax assessments, audits, and notices.
Liaise with government authorities, auditors, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
5. Financial Controls & Governance
Establish and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and business risks.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and internal policies.
Drive process automation, digitalization, and finance transformation initiatives.
6. Business Partnering
Partner with functional leaders to monitor budgets, profitability, and cost-optimization initiatives.
Support investment evaluations, Capex planning, and business expansion decisions.
Provide commercial and financial insights for strategic projects and business opportunities.
7. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop Finance & Accounts teams across functions.
Build a high-performance finance culture focused on accountability and operational excellence.
Drive capability development, succession planning, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.

Candidate Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
MBA in Finance – Added advantage.
Strong experience across financial accounting, reporting, taxation, treasury, working capital, financial controls, and business finance.
Strong understanding of Ind AS, Companies Act, taxation, audit, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.
Strong leadership, stakeholder-management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work closely with senior leadership and provide actionable financial insights.
