BIM Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Developing BIM models for complete electrical services.
• Developing families for electrical fixtures and devices.
• Modelling Power & lighting layout as per design documents.
• Coordinating with Architects and Structural Engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Preparing on-site shop drawings and bill of quantities.
• Preparation of drawings in Revit.1
• Preparing details of electrical design and load schedule.
Requirements to Apply
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in electrical design and BIM modeling within the AEC industry.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and electrical design tools.
• Knowledge of electrical load calculations, standards, and best practices for power and lighting
systems.
• Experience in creating Revit families for electrical devices and fixtures.
• Familiarity with local authority standards and coordination protocols.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
