Tech Lead - Mobile

Job Description:

Seeking a Technical Lead – Mobile, who enjoys solving complex problems using clean, efficient and performance methods and putting those solutions into action whilst working in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsible on the Implementation part of the project i.e., getting things right
• Ensure the software is developed confirming the project architecture, coding standards and NFRs
• Identify ways to implement a story and select the approach that is best suited for the project
• Break down user stories along with the team to identify technical tasks
• Provide detailed estimates before the start of the sprints. Need to work with the Team to get the estimates
• Proactively pre-plan the sprints to achieve 90+% confidence of delivery
• Delegate such tasks to L1s during the sprints and ensure those are completed. Identify any dependencies amongst the tasks and plan accordingly. Request help of ADMs if needed
• Perform code reviews for Self and L1 engineers
• Provide support to L1 engineers in completing their tasks. Ideally should enable L1s to do the tasks, rather than doing themselves
• Nurture & groom L1 engineers to become better at their work
• Create technical documents as required for the project in JIRA, Confluence, or other tools
• Provide POs and ADMs with daily updates of the team via Jira and Slack
• Proactively communicate with other team members of the team
• Provide HR and Management with any relevant information to help improve organization's culture & performance

Key Skills
• Should have knowledge of code quality tools like SonarQube or android lint
• Deep understanding of various design patterns and OOPs concepts
• Demonstrate knowledge of Performance impact of their code
• Agile Estimation techniques
• Task Management & Planning
• Be able to work on application that supports multi-languages
• Must have knowledge of clean architecture
• Should have hands-in experience with Sqlite or ORM database
• Can create application as per the apple guidelines
• Must have knowledge of VIPER architecture
• Understanding of various advance programming concepts
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise grade mobile application development with Flutter/React-native/iOS/Android programming experience
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
• Able to implement third party libraries into an existing code
• Familiarity with native build tools, like Xcode or Android Studio

Education and Experience

• 5-10 Years’ experience as a Mobile Developer/Lead
