Automation Developer (Tester)

Job Description:

The Automation developer is responsible to design and write programs that run automatic tests on new or existing software. He/She is responsible to use Automation Framework with Standardised Guidelines to build these programs and write test scripts that do the testing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ability to use any test automation tools used at work/on the project to create / maintain Automated Test Scripts using proper design patterns/architecture.
• Ability to create/maintain/support an automation framework in order to create a test environment for current and upcoming projects.
• Maintaining test scripts inventories.
• Ability to create test plan/strategies for Automated Test Script execution.
• Creating required Test data for Test cases.
• Have an excellent knowledge of the software architecture within projects.
• Communicating results to stakeholders and project members.
• Reporting defects/issues found during the execution of the automated regression suite to Manual Testers/Product analysts to verify and Report them.
• Ability to train new colleagues and coaching them.
• Doing peer-review/code-review.
• Ability to think outside the box in order to find solutions to get the work done.

Providing weekly status on project progression, providing suggestions to improve efficiency on daily basis.
