IOS Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Sr/Team Lead -  iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be the development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

Roles and responsibilities

• Design and create high-level iOS applications for mobile devices.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Use core data core animation for the iOS framework.
• Monitor the performance of apps and make improvements as required.
• Independently craft project solutions by applying solid Object-Oriented-Design principles.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Research continuously and acquire the latest technologies for maximum efficiency.

Skills required

• Strong foundation with iOS software and architecture.
• 5+ years’ experience required in iOS development.
• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift (depending on project requirements).
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Should have an experience with SOLID, Algorithms, and Architectural Patterns.
• Familiarity with web technologies and UI/UX standards (Swift UI, Apple HIG).
• Previous experience with APIs and working with third party libraries.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
• Intuitive and enthusiastic about designing, developing, and testing thoughtful architecture.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other related field.
