GM - Business Development
Job Description:
Job Purpose:
The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, forming business strategies with innovative business models evaluating its fit with the company vision, negotiating and closing deals, tapping into new
markets.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development - Identify new customers – Domestic / International Market
2. Achieving Sales Targets – Existing Customers & New Customers
3. Achieve Collection Targets. Regular review of accounts receivables
4. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
5. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
6. Research industries and identify potential customers from all industry verticals
7. Understand client needs, design appropriate solutions basis Assistive core competencies,respond to RFPs, do vendor registrations and negotiate deals to closure
8. Be actively involved in developing BD strategy and roadmap for organizational growth and target achievements
9. Is the “one – stop – window” for the customer. Leading the project to its successful completion and handing over to the customer.
10. Ensuring resolution of client complaints, queries and issues within defined TATs.
11. Responding to all the enquiries received from all sources
12. Filtering out high potential deals based on internal priorities
13. Regular visits to existing customers
14. Participating in exhibitions or any marketing events as direct by the management.
15. Coordination with Production Department for order fulfillment
Requisite Skills:
1. Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
2. Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
3. Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
5. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
6. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
7. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
