US Accounting- Team Lead

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead for our US Accounting department. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective team performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in US accounting principles, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional growth.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities, while maintaining accountability for team performance and results.
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes.
• Review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and address any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Certified
• Proven experience (3+ years) in US accounting and financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team- lead role. Thorough understanding of GAAP and US accounting regulations
• Excellent Communication in English.
