Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) for the General Insurance Broking Firm plays a crucial role in driving revenue and expanding the firm's customer base. The primary focus will be on selling a range of insurance products including Trade Credit Insurance, Liability Insurance, Private Client Group Insurance, and Customized High-End Health Insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients to promote and sell various insurance products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and present compelling sales pitches and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance contracts, ensuring alignment with the client's requirements and company guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and claims promptly.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry regulations to effectively communicate benefits and coverage options to clients.
- Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
- Participate in training programs to enhance sales skills and stay current on industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a results-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with insurance products such as Trade Credit, Liability, Private Client Group, and High-End Health Insurance.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales software for tracking leads and managing customer interactions.
- Problem-solving abilities to address client needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
