Job Description:

This role involves coordinating and executing production processes, ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing production efficiency. The Production Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet production targets while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning: Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop production plans, schedules, and resource allocation for Ayurvedic product lines.
  2. Manufacturing Operations: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, including raw material procurement, blending, granulation, tablet pressing, capsule filling, and packaging.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, batch records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  5. Troubleshooting: Address production issues promptly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Research and Development, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations and product development.
  7. Environmental and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities adhere to environmental regulations and safety protocols.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or Ayurvedic industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic manufacturing processes and principles.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to Ayurvedic product manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.
