Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES of Production Manager:
Planning
- Production planning
- Resource Planning (Man, Machine, Materials)
- Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
- Plan workflow and schedules for production departments.
Execution
- Production execution
- Co-ordination between shift supervisors
- Oversee production processes
- Selection of purchasing materials required for production
- Machine Equipment Installation commissioning of machines
Monitoring
- Monitor, Measure Report on Manufacturing Plans Achievements within Agreed Formats Timescales.
- Cross Audits of inter Dept. for safety & quality.
Improvements
- Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications of the Planning Manager
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage people and processes
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and production management systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, ISO 9001, and other quality management systems
- Experience in scheduling and production planning
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Diploma in Mechanical / Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Management related field
- Experience of 10 to 15 years in a manufacturing or production management environment
- Water and oil supply Valve industry experience are plus point for selection.
- BE Mechanical with 10 years of experience.
- Diploma in Mechanical with 15 years’ experience.
- Good Oral / written English Communication
