Job Description:

Job Overview:

The incumbent will play a key role in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets. This position requires expertise in Beat Planning, Zone Allocation, and B2B Sales, along with a proven track record of handling Trade-Cement teams, either in channel sales or project sales.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Lead the team in achieving monthly targets for customer acquisition and conversion, with a focus on attaining new customer acquisition (Registration and Onboarding) targets.
  2. Cultivate and nurture enduring relationships with newly onboarded customers, linking them with suitable sellers on the platform.
  3. Contribute market intelligence inputs for the formulation of pricing and activation strategies.
  4. Oversee the enrichment and maintenance of customer profiles, ensuring regular updates in CRM.
  5. Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a seamless transition of clients, fostering repeat sales with minimal dropouts.
  6. Guide customers through their credit application journey.

Qualifications:

  1. Engineer/MBA from a Tier 2 institute. Exceptionally strong candidates with relevant experience, even without an MBA, may also be considered.
  2. Possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in customer acquisition and sales in the B2B segment of the Cement industry.
  3. Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting customer needs, establishing robust customer relationships, and effectively closing sales.
  4. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Be a self-starter and a driven individual with a results-oriented approach.
  6. Have significant experience in managing teams, with a minimum of 8-10 direct reportees.
  7. Language skills: Fluent in English, with knowledge of the local language.
  8. Hold a valid driving license for a two-wheeler. The candidate is expected to either possess or hire a bike in the city of work.
