Job Description:

Valuation Model Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining valuation models to assess the financial worth of assets, projects, or companies. This includes utilizing various valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions analysis (PTA).

  • Financial Modeling: Creating and managing financial models to analyze and forecast financial performance, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. These models may be used for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, or investment decision-making.
  • Data Analysis: Collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports and analyses to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory authorities. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development of annual budgets and forecasts by collaborating with department heads, conducting variance analysis, and providing insights into financial performance.
  • Risk Management: Assessing and managing financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. Developing strategies and implementing controls to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's financial health.
  • Financial Strategy: Contributing to the formulation and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Providing recommendations for improving financial efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including accounting, treasury, operations, and strategic planning, to support integrated financial management and decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and incorporating them into processes and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Advisory Support: Providing financial expertise and insights to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising activities, and other corporate finance transactions.
  • Experience and Skills.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, valuation, modelling, or corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling software, Google Sheets, Valuation and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving business value and performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
