Job Description:
About  the  Role 
We are looking for an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer with a detailed eye towards performance testing and quick learning abilities to grasp a new product quickly and be able to extend existing Karate Automation Fram work to include Performance Automation which will help us continue delivering world class quality to our customers.

Responsibilities 
Grasp new modules/features of the product quickly. 
Understand existing Karate UI Automation Framework quickly. 
Extend existing UI karate framework to include Performance test automation. 
Set up the Performance suite to test if the product is meeting expected benchmarks at various end points and to point out exact points of performance vulnerabilities. 
Set up the framework in a way that it could be target run for specific end points per release/project. 
Should be able to extend the set framework to include resiliency testing. 
In non-performance sprints, should be able to contribute to API Automation Testing by understanding and adding to existing API Test Automation Framework. 
Be able to to explore different strategies while setting up the framework and select the best one based on merits, provide executive summary and execute setting up the API framework accordingly  
Interact with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements & help in holistic Test Cases, Exhibit complete ownership of Assigned areas. 
Proactively engage, lead and execute with other teams and projects as/when required 
Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements 
 
Desired Experience  
Technical Skills   
A minimum of Hands-On 2 years’ experience in all aspects of manual testing (Black & White Box Testing) of web applications. 
A minimum of Hands-On 1 years’ experience in Front-End/UI Automation using Karate/Selenium. 
A minimum of Hands-On 2 years’ experience in API Test Automation. 
A minimum of Hands-On 3-4 years experience in Performance Test Automation. 
Experience in maintaining existing test suites at a quick pace per sprint in midst of rapid changes of product code. 
Experience in enhancing existing framework to make it perform better. 
Strong in concepts of working with DB (concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins). 
Experience of working with gitlab/github. 
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases  
Understanding of concepts of working with DB (Strong on concepts of Index, DDL, DML, Joins). 
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
 
Soft Skills :
Good communication skills to be able to relay info to and from all categories of internal stakeholders. 
Strong Commitment and Ownership towards agreed-upon tasks - Should work around blockers and strive to keep moving ahead. 
 
Qualifications: 
B.E/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering. 
ISTQB Certification is MUST 
Prior experience working on B2B Software, Platforms or Products is a must  
Domain experience in Finance, Capital Markets, and Private Equity (This is a must-match)
