Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled MIS/data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced Excel and Google Sheets, adept at using complex formulas, and capable of transferring data from CRM software such as Skynamo, Freshsales, and Xero into Google Sheets. The role involves creating insightful dashboards and revenue models to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Transfer and manage data from various CRM software (Skynamo, Freshsales, Xero) into Google Sheets.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets: Utilize advanced functions, formulas, and data manipulation techniques in Excel and Google Sheets to analyze data.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards to track key performance metrics.
- Revenue Modeling: Build and maintain revenue models to forecast and analyze financial performance.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business operations and strategic decisions.
- Data Quality: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve data management practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a similar role involving data analysis, advanced Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros, complex formulas).
- Expertise in Google Sheets (functions, scripts, data validation).
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Skynamo, Freshsales, and Xero.
- Experience in creating dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Soft Skills: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
