Job Description:

About the Role

The organization is a global leader in engineered solutions serving critical industries and large-scale infrastructure. This role is part of a high-performing finance function and involves ownership of financial reviews, taxation, compliance, and audit coordination.

As a Financial & Taxation Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing financial transactions, managing quarterly invoicing and presentations, supporting management with data-driven decisions, and ensuring compliance across taxation, statutory requirements, secretarial matters, transfer pricing, and internal controls.

This role requires a strong accounting background, excellent compliance understanding, and the ability to independently manage finance and tax processes.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Review & Reporting

  • Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.

  • Coordinate with accounting teams to rectify discrepancies.

  • Prepare quarterly invoicing with variance analysis.

  • Create management presentations and support leadership in financial decision-making.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in MIS preparation.

Taxation, Secretarial & Legal Compliance

  • Oversee taxation and secretarial compliance, including return preparation.

  • Coordinate with consultants (Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing, Internal Audit, etc.).

  • Manage and maintain all compliance documentation.

Audit Coordination

  • Ensure audit documentation is prepared accurately and on time.

  • Manage submissions for statutory, tax, transfer pricing, internal control, and IT audits.

  • Ensure adherence to prescribed formats and deadlines.

Process Accuracy & Control

  • Maintain high accuracy in tax and secretarial documentation.

  • Ensure timely and error-free audit submissions.

  • Support internal process improvements and financial control initiatives.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6–7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting (preferably in an Indian company).

  • Strong background in operational transactions and compliance.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics, AX 2012, or Tally).

  • Experience handling MIS and tax-related matters independently.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong accounting and taxation knowledge.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

  • Team player with good inter-department coordination skills.

  • Analytical abilities and experience working with data.
