Job Description:

Accounting:
Manage all account transactions and assist the Senior Accountant in preparing financial statements.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, payroll, and preparation of financial statements.
Monitor and manage financial data, ensuring accurate reporting.
Investigate discrepancies in quantity and cost, taking corrective actions as needed.

Inventory Management:
Oversee stock management, monitor stock levels via Linnworks, and ensure accurate data entry.
Manage and plan for inbound container deliveries.
Conduct periodic stock takes and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Monitor all transfers, deliveries, replenishments, and stock movements at the warehouse.
Develop and implement innovative processes to improve efficiencies within the inventory function.
Regularly review inventory data to ensure best value and performance.
Integrate parts for new assets into the Asset Management System and collaborate with managers to finalize required stock levels.
Ensure correct quantities of stock are assigned to job plans and reorder items when necessary.
Work with suppliers to negotiate the best value for inventory items and improve stock quality, range, and packaging.

Operational Planning:
Understand and contribute to demand and supply planning, sales & operations planning, segmentation strategy, and production scheduling.
Continuously review minimum stock levels required, updating records in Linnworks and Excel as necessary.
Investigate and resolve product quality issues and non-conformance complaints, applying preventive and corrective actions.
Analyze data from various sources to make informed procurement decisions.

Software Proficiency:
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, and MS Office.
Experience with Linnworks or similar inventory management systems.

Key Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in both independent and team settings.
High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
