IT Engineer/Manager responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and applications, while troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to staff.
Job Description:
1. Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks and applications
2. Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks
3. Respond to technical support calls from other staff members or vendors and communicate how to resolve issues
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults or hardware complications
5. Support the roll-out of new applications
6. Keep a record of issues, along with solutions, to refer back to in future instances
7. Resolving IT support requests from employees
8. Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
9. Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
10. Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
11. Generating sign-ins for new hires during the on boarding process
12. Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
13. Updating employees on the status of their service requests
14. Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
