Roles & Responsibilities -
Identify and develop new B2B customers in the food processing industry, including seasonings, snacks, instant foods, ready-to-eat (RTE), ready-to-cook (RTC), sauces, soups, noodles, frozen foods, meat alternatives, and other savory food segments.
Drive business development and sales of Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (HVP), Hydrolyzed Groundnut Protein (HGP), and other savoury ingredient solutions.
Visit customers regularly to understand their product requirements and identify new business opportunities.
Conduct product demonstrations, application trials, and technical presentations at customer locations in coordination with the R&D/Application team.
Work closely with R&D and production teams for sample development, product customisation, and commercial approvals.
Convert product trials into commercial orders and ensure timely closure of sales opportunities.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while expanding the customer base.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic accounts.
Gather market intelligence on customer requirements, competitor products, pricing, and emerging industry trends.
Prepare sales forecasts, business development reports, customer visit reports, and sales pipeline updates.
Support new product launches by identifying target customers and generating commercial opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely sampling, order execution, and customer satisfaction.

Education Required –
Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
MBA (Marketing/Food Business Management) preferred but not mandatory.
5-10 years of B2B sales experience in food ingredients, HVP, HGP, seasonings, savoury ingredients, functional proteins, or related products.
Basic understanding of food ingredient applications and technical selling.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and product trials.
