Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume the role of Software Engineer with responsibilities to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support new and existing vehicle products and enhancements.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure quality and on-time delivery of products using agile and test-driven development
• Required to work with the Technical Product Manager to contribute to shaping the technology and tooling direction of the product and Vehicle Software Updates product
• Review and support product defect analysis
• Participate in integrated testing across the Connected Vehicle ecosystem to ensure end-to-end product
• Directly contribute to development activities utilizing Software Craftsmanship/Clean Code/Extreme Programming

Qualifications:

Required:

• BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
• 5+ years of Java development
• 3+ years of Spring and Spring Boot framework
• 3+ years of experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management, Test Management, CI/CD, etc).
• 3+ years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments (GCP, Azure)

Nice to have skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration
• Familiarity with Graph DB solutions (e.g. neo4j)
• Familiarity with other common programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python)
• Development experience in multiple programming environments (Mobile, Vehicle, Cloud)
• API Development, including OAuth2
• Understanding of in-vehicle architectures
