Role Overview
The organization is seeking a highly motivated Consultant (Education) with demonstrated experience in government-led education projects. The role involves providing technical expertise and advisory support for engagements with Central and State Government departments, education councils, academic institutions, and related stakeholders.
The Consultant will contribute to reforms in curriculum development, assessments, pedagogy, teacher training, and education system enhancement. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Indian education landscape and hands-on experience working with public-sector stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Implementation

Support end-to-end execution of education sector projects aligned with government priorities.

Collaborate closely with Central/State Government departments, SCERTs, boards, and public institutions.

Conduct research, field studies, and data analysis to support policy recommendations and implementation plans.
2. Curriculum & Pedagogy Development
-
Assist in designing or reviewing curriculum frameworks aligned with national standards.

Support development of pedagogical models, teacher training modules, and learning resources.

Ensure curriculum and pedagogy reforms are evidence-based and context-relevant.
3. Assessment & Evaluation
-
Contribute to the development of formative and summative assessment frameworks.

Assist in designing test items, question banks, rubrics, and evaluation guidelines.

Support assessment implementation, including training and monitoring activities.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
-
Coordinate with government officials, educators, NGOs, academic experts, and multilateral partners.

Conduct workshops, meetings, and capacity-building programs for teachers and administrators.

Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and policy briefs.
5. Project Documentation & Quality Assurance

Prepare project deliverables, proposals, and conceptual documents as required.

Maintain documentation, MIS updates, and progress reports as per organizational quality standards.

Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and compliance frameworks.
6. Research & Policy Advisory

Conduct comparative studies, benchmarking, and literature reviews to inform project decisions.

Provide research-driven recommendations to improve education systems and learning outcomes.

Contribute to development of technical frameworks, toolkits, and implementation guidelines.
Required Qualifications

BE / B.Tech / MBA / PGDM / B.Ed. / Post-Graduate degree in Education, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the education sector.

Strong understanding of Indian school education structures and policies (NEP 2020, NCF, etc.).

Ability to manage relationships with government stakeholders and academic institutions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
