Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Applications Engineer who will work closely with global sales and technical teams to deliver technically sound, commercially competitive proposals and ensure seamless project execution.

This role combines application engineering, costing, tendering, and technical sales support and working with PLC systems and electrical panels.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

• Partner with global sales teams to provide technical and commercial expertise
• Develop solution-based proposals that balance customer needs with business goals
• Define project scope clearly and estimate costs accurately
• Prepare documentation packs and support pre-award activities
• Attend technical meetings and marketing events locally and internationally

Project Handover

• Ensure smooth transition of technical and commercial documentation to operations

Innovation & Development

• Contribute to new product development and supply chain initiatives

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication Engineering

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in application engineering, tendering, or technical sales support

• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or similar industry is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electrical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Strong foundation in electrical or instrumentation systems

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems

• Knowledge of PLC systems and control panels

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

• CAD knowledge is an added advantage
