Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Offshore Accounting to join our US Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting practices, financial reporting and accounting procedures, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting activities and reporting.

This is an onsite role requiring close coordination with junior accountants and U.S.-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify daily accounting entries prepared by junior accountants.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities in the absence of junior team members.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports within defined timelines.
  • Maintain effective communication with U.S. clients through email and virtual meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with standard accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Prepare and file Sales Tax Returns.
  • Coordinate with junior accountants to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
  • Address accounting-related queries and support day-to-day client requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with international/U.S. clients will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with U.S. accounting standards is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage accounting operations independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and correspond professionally with international clients.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with junior team members and manage day-to-day accounting activities.
