Project Manager
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects across the company . In order to do this successfully, this person should feel comfortable handling multiple tasks at a time.
Responsibilities
- Create & manage project plans
- Act as technology consultant to the end client
- Suggest clients on technology architecture set up for respective projects
- Manage customer expectations especially during fire-fighting situations
- Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies of project management as per the project needs.
- Define project scope, schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress
- Deliver and install technology solutions
- Monitor delivery and quality to customer/stakeholders
- Identify and resolve issues and risk.
- Report on project progress, offer viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
- Help project team with the design and development tasks
- Lead meetings and set expectations for project team
- Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork
- Lead process of issue identification and resolution
- Manage risk tracking process
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Implement software life-cycle methodology
- Coordinate roll-out of beta and production releases
- Inspect projects for quality assurance
- Work with technology architecture team to brainstorm new test ideas for technical projects.
Qualifications
- BE ( IT/Computers) /ME /BTech or MTech + MBA
- Minimum 5 years experience in Information technology organisation.
- Minimum 3 years experience in project management
- Experience in banking projects will be preferred.
- Prior experience in Agile project management will be preferred
- Prior experience of working in an IT organisation will be preferred.
