Job Description:

Internal IT Systems

  • Internal IT Systems and End User Support, Licensing compliance, Procurement and Budget control.
  • Ensure provision of a high-quality desktop support service, Supervising the IT Support Engineers/Team


Information Security

  • Lead a strategic and comprehensive information security and risk management processes and program to ensure that the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information is owned and controlled by the IT department.
  • Ensure the security of the organization's IT systems, protecting against breach from outside sources and viruses.
  • Ensure secure, stable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure
  • Ensure adequate internal action and timely response for security related incidents.
  • Management of the IT budget.


Operations Management

  • System uptime, SLA Adherence, Shift Mgt - Defining and adhering
  • Manage 24 x 7 x 365 operations.
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
  • Handle escalations in Operations
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Define, run and administer Internal/external IT Policies - Definition and adherence.
  • Advise the Management Team on the application of policies and procedures to guide staff on the appropriate use of the organization’s IT hardware and systems.

 

Budget Control

  • Management of the IT budget.
  • Financial responsibility and secured revenue in alignment with budgets (budget & Forecast).
  • Define internal Cost Saving and efficiency enhancement initiatives – define business case/s and track them to closure.

Asset & Third-Party Compliance Management

  • Control Asset movement, AMC, Contract renewals / termination, Maintain up to date asset register in sync with finance.
  • Administer IT purchase, inventory system and management system.
  • Control Procurement through process, Financial Reporting, Track Budget vs.
  • Expenditure, Service and Licensing Renewal Tracking, Asset Management.
  • Track approved technology budget Vis-à-vis actual. Maintain Monthly/Annual Budget Reporting.
  • Verify financial data (e.g., leased, depreciated or expensed), monitor and reconcile changes in inventory, perform spot checks to ensure process and system quality.
  • Monitor compliance of third-party licenses, establish optimization areas and cost-effective solutions. Manage relationships with third party providers of services to the organization.
  • Responsibilities include negotiation of contract language and evaluation of third-party risk related to privacy and security practices.

Compliance

  • Define, announce and Implement BCP/DR policy for Organization customers & internal entities covering Assumptions, current status.
  • Interlock with Practice and delivery to bring clarity, consistency in understanding. Identify areas of optimization

Facilities Management and Support

  • End user support and management including desktop / laptop, user control on Email ID, Patch management, Backup.
  • Asset movement control and maintenance. 

Customer Satisfaction & Team Management

  • Overall team formation, process improvements and mentoring.
  • Improve customer/Employee satisfaction based on defined measures
