Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager . As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing technical expertise to our customers. Your role will primarily focus on pre-sales support, product approval, and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you have a strong technical background, excellent sales skills, and a passion for building materials, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our company's success.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with business goals, targeting potential customers and winning their business.
  • Provide pre-sales support by conducting product demonstrations, answering technical inquiries, and guiding customers on product selection and application.
  • Obtain product approvals from regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop technical documentation, including product data sheets, installation instructions, and specifications.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for the sales team and customers.
  • Provide post-sales technical support, addressing customer questions, assisting with installation and maintenance, and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure products meet customer needs and remain competitive in the market.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements through market research and analysis.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales support, and product approval within the building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, provide technical solutions, and build long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and report writing.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications or specialized training in sales and marketing.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or product management.
  • Familiarity with the Indian building materials market.
