Job Description:
As the Sales Head for our Oral Care Brand in India, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our brand presence and driving sales growth in this strategic market. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, building a high-performance sales team, and establishing strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for the oral care brand in India, including market analysis, segmentation, and positioning.

Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and brand recognition.

Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to ensure team success.

Channel Development: Identify and establish relationships with distributors, retailers, and key partners to expand the brand's presence across India.

Product Promotion: Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive product sales.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and consumer preferences, providing insights to guide product development and marketing efforts.

Budget Management: Manage the sales budget effectively, optimizing resources to maximize ROI.

Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in senior sales or business development roles within the consumer goods industry, preferably in the oral care sector.
- Strong understanding of the Indian oral care market, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for brand building.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in local languages as required.
- Willingness to travel within India as needed.
