Job Description:

Role Overview: As a Supply Chain and Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order management process while driving process excellence initiatives within the supply chain and logistics functions. You will play a critical role in optimizing order fulfillment processes, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination between various stakeholders to meet customer demands effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Order Management:
    • Manage the entire order lifecycle, from order entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to prioritize and fulfill orders according to customer requirements.
    • Monitor order status, track shipments, and address any issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery.
  2. Process Excellence:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain and logistics functions.
    • Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall performance.
    • Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Logistics Management:
    • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
    • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers to optimize service levels and transportation costs.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for order-related inquiries and escalations.
    • Communicate order status updates and address customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to proactively resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in supply chain management, order management, and logistics operations.
    • Proven track record of driving process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices to optimize supply chain performance.
    • Experience working with ERP systems, order management systems (OMS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
  3. Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
    • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques to drive decision-making and process optimization efforts.
  4. Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  5. Leadership Abilities:
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
    • Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  6. Attention to Detail:
    • Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in order management and logistics operations.
    • Ability to identify discrepancies and errors and take proactive measures to resolve them.
  • Expertise in Excel sheets, Google Sheets, Entry of Data, and Invoicing.
  • Work time - 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST.
